The movie had an outstanding collection from states which allowed the movie screening while four states still chose not to abide by the supreme court orders and didn’t allow the movie to release. These states are Madhya Pradesh, Gujrat, Rajasthan and multiplexes in goa.
Considering these figures amidst the nationwide protest, threats and states banning the movie are simply outstanding. The padmaavat is clearly a winner and winning millions of hearts.
Padmaavat is not only a box office winner but also receiving good reviews from major of the rating websites and trade analyst.
Padmaavat before release was expected to do well on the Indian box office, but the movie is rocking at the overseas too.
The first weekend figures from Australia are outstanding, and surprisingly it has crossed the lifetime collection of Dilwale, Bajirao Mastani, Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and soon it will break DHOOM 3 also.

Padmaavat has taken North America by storm and has become the highest single day earner breaking all the previous record held by the Bollywood movies.
